It’s not the first time I’ve drawn a Boop, but this time I wanted to give her a more modern update! Please forgive the stiff composition and entire lack of background… I’m working on it.
Betty’s a mid 20′s instagram starlet, with her account split between tasteful sponsored posts, selfies, and silly snapchat filtered videos of her and her friends having fun!
I wanted to keep the kind of sultry and flirty nature she seems to have while both aging her up (Boop is 16? Yuck) and reflecting what’s considered flirty and glamorous today! I leaned a little hard on red here, but I’m trying to keep to her roots. The only reason she doesn’t have heeled boots is I can’t draw them! I could go on but I won’t bore you, shoot me a message if you have questions!

My mom never really noticed. She noticed when she was breast feeding my little brother and blood started coming out instead of milk.
My mom said she felt and saw a little lump in the shower. She was lucky enough she found it at stage 2
My mom had a mammogram. The radiologist thought the spots were just regular calcium deposits.
Turns out it was triple negative breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nods. Mastectomy, radiation and chemo saved her life.
This could SAVE a life.

Reminder that anyone who grew their own breast tissue can get breast cancer. That includes trans women, intersex peeps, and cis men who may not have been aware there could be some breast tissue in there. The only way to be sure you don’t have any at all is if you’ve had it all removed. If you’ve had tissue removed for reasons other than cancer, they likely didn’t remove all of it. If you find something weird, regardless of who you are or how you identify, get it checked out.
All of you should reblog this. Breast cancer affects everyone and there’s not enough information about it.

I saw this post years ago, and I just rechecked – don’t click that link, it tries to make you download and install a thing and then redirects to a google search. I’m pretty sure this clothing company no longer exists. It’s a shame, but spreading this around like they’re still in operation is not great either.
